The Bronze to Chocolate Scam is a scam that tricks new players, however, might not get work anymore because of the new Trade Screen. The scammer swaps the bronze item for a piece of chocolate, and the victim is tricked. This goes against the 'Scamming' rule under Honour (formerly Rule 2). This scam is rare now, as chocolate is worth more than bronze nowadays (or at least chocolate dust from using a knife on it.)

Example[]

Example 1[]

This example does not function well anymore or has a very slim chance of working well because of the new trade screen update.

Scammer: Selling bronze scimitar 70gp.
Victim thinks to himself; A bronze scimitar will do; I'll buy it.
Victim offers a trade to the scammer.
The scammer inserts a bronze scimitar, and the victim inserts 70gp.
The scammer replaces the bronze scimitar with a chocolate. An exclamation mark appears where the item was swapped.
The victim doesn't notice the exclamation mark, and both click accept.
The victim has just been scammed, and reports the scammer for scamming.

Example 2[]

This example might still work. Make sure you check the second screen and the trade value before you accept.

Scammer: Selling bronze scimitar 70gp.
Victim thinks to himself; A bronze scimitar will do; I'll buy it.
Victim offers a trade to the scammer.
The scammer inserts a bronze scimitar, and the victim inserts 70gp.
The scammer says something like "Whoops, I accidentally clicked decline :(".
They both offer another trade.
The scammer inserts a piece of chocolate, and the victim inserts 70gp.
The victim has just been scammed, and reports the scammer for scamming.
