The burnt bone scam is a type of money-making scam in which the scammer tries to sell burnt bones (obtained from the demonic ruins in the Wilderness) to players for more than what they were worth, claiming that they gave more XP than they really gave. This is false, as burnt bones give the same amount of experience as normal bones, and hence are not worth any more than normal bones.
This scam is reportable under Honour, using the Item scamming option.
